Hello, and thank you for checking out my blog. My name is Mike. I'm a 23 year-old seminary student currently studying at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. I got my B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies with a minor in Biblical Greek from Bethel University in St. Paul, Min. I'm currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity, and if time and sanity allows, a Theological Masters here at Trinity.
I grew up in Rockford, Ill, and graduated from Rockford Lutheran High School in 2006. While in Rockford, I attended Heartland Community Church, and I'm still searching for a church home near Trinity. I'm passionate about transformation, community, and biblical, Christ-centered teaching's role in each. When I graduate from Trinity, I hope to be ordained and become a teaching pastor anywhere with ears to hear God's word.
I started this blog when I began at Trinity so that I might bring the classroom into everyday life, applying biblical and theological concepts to transformative practices. My prayer is that this blog will be a tool in the transformation of those who have responded to God's call, or even that it might help some respond to him in the first place! If you want to get to know me beyond just this profile, use Find Me tab to find me elsewhere and get connected. Otherwise, enjoy what you read, respond, engage, and be blessed!
Grace and Peace,
Mike
